Woman with outstanding warrants found unconcious behind wheel of stolen car

HENRIETTA, N.Y. – Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputies found a 2012 Nissan Sentra sitting at a green traffic light on Jay Scutti Boulevard at the intersection of Jefferson Road on December 24 at 4:40 a.m.

A a license plate check found the vehicle was reported stolen from the Penfield on December 10. Deputies found the woman driving unconscious behind the steering wheel, with drug paraphernalia, and the engine was running with the car in gear.

The woman woke up and tried to run away, but was taken into custody. She’s been identified as 36-year-old Casey R. Clohessy, from Rochester.

She has outstanding warrants for arrest out of Monroe County Court, Rochester City Court and Irondequoit Town Court. She is charged with:

  • Criminal possession of stolen property
  • Operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Aggravated unlicensed operation
  • Resisting arrest
  • Criminal possession of stolen property

Clohessy was arraigned in Henrietta Town Court and taken to the Monroe County Jail on the outstanding Monroe County Court warrant.
