Deputies investigating fatal crash in Wayne County

ARCADIA, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash that happened in the town of Arcadia on Friday.
Deputies say Michael J. Case, 55, of Sodus, was driving eastbound on Welcher Road around 2:45 p.m. when he veered off the roadway for unknown reasons. The car rolled several times and hit a tree.
Case was pronounced dead at the scene and there were no other passengers in the car.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Newark Fire/Rescue, Newark/Arcadia Ambulance, Wayne County Advanced Life Support, and the Wayne County Coroner’s Office.
