ROCHESTER, N.Y. A much more cloudy and muggy start to the day today compared to our last few mornings.

We have also been dealing with a few light showers that will continue through the next couple of hours. However, today will not be a complete washout or overcast kind of day.

By the late morning hours, the sunshine will return and this afternoon will be filtered with sun and clouds. We will remain humid, and another round of showers and rumbles of thunder will be possible late this afternoon and evening.

Rain later today will be heavy at times with limited visibility on roadways, but no flooding is expected.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue for Monday, but just like today, a washout is not expected Monday. A few showers will be possible Monday morning before a better chance for showers and storms in the afternoon.

Showers and storms Monday afternoon will also have a chance to be heavy at times. When the rain begins to wrap up by Tuesday evening most areas will have received .5″ to 1″ or rain with localized amounts near or over 2″ possible.
