First Alert Weather: Fair weather to end the work week, but rain returns this weekend

A cold front passing through overnight will knock our temperatures back a bit for Thursday, but keeping us more in line with what is “average” – mid 60s. We may see some areas of fog in the morning along with some clouds, but nothing like what we saw Wednesday morning. Sunshine returns into the afternoon, and we’ll remain dry. Friday warms into the 70s with a bit more cloud cover. We’ll stay dry into the afternoon, but chances for some showers will increase late in the evening and overnight ahead of our next system.

This next system will bring periods of rain and showers both Saturday and Sunday, with Saturday looking like the wetter weekend day, but neither day should be a total washout. Overall, we’ll see a warmer than average, but somewhat active, weather pattern over the next week with several chances for rain.
