ROCHESTER, N.Y. Over the last several days it has felt more like late Summer as opposed to the middle of Fall with high temperatures reaching as warm as the mid and low 70s at times across Western NY.

So with the cooler weather today it begs the question, “Are we done with the warmer weather?” The answer is no! So as we go into next week, we are expecting some milder weather to approach, but as we start on Halloween it is generally seasonable.

Highs in the upper 50s to low 60s, but toward the middle and the end of the week, an upper-level ridge is going to build across our region and allow our temperatures to warm up once again as it pushes the jet stream to the north.

You can see the two models bringing temperatures in the mid and upper 60s and even into the mid and low 70s once again toward the end of next week and into the following weekend.

Then looking a little farther from there into that weekend and into the following part of that second week of November, the Climate Prediction Center is expecting well above-normal temperatures across our region.

So the winter coats have gotten use from time to time here in October, but the shorts and T-shirts are not saying goodbye just yet.
