Estranged husband of former mayor Warren sentenced to 32 months in prison

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Timothy Granison, the estranged husband of former mayor Lovely Warren, was sentenced on Tuesday afternoon after pleading guilty to drug charges.
Timothy Granison, 43, of Rochester, NY, who was convicted of conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine, was sentenced to serve 32 months in prison.
Granison was arrested in May 2021 after authorities conducted a seven-month-long wiretap investigation into drug trafficking. New York State Police raided the home that he shared with the former mayor.
Investigators also observed Granison pulling up to a home of a co-conspirator located on Birch Crescent in Rochester. At the time of his arrest, 31 grams of cocaine and over $1,200 was recovered.
In April 2022, Granison pleaded guilty to a federal drug charge, conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine. He is facing just under three years.

U.S. Attorney Matthew McGrath said Granison was a member of a drug trafficking organization that distributed large quantities of both cocaine and crack cocaine out of a Glenwood Avenue drug house.
John Demarco, Timothy Granison’s attorney said, “well, he accepted responsibility. He is a good person that exercised some bad judgment. He’s gonna live up to that poor judgment, and he’s prepared to serve his sentence.”
During the raid of Granison’s home, police said they found guns and an unsecured rifle. A jury acquitted Granison on the most serious state gun charge but he was found guilty of child endangerment for the unsecured rifle in his home.
