ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Memorial Art Gallery’s Clothesline Festival will be back in being in-person this year, but with a few changes, organizers announced Monday.

The 65th annual festival will be held Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 11 and 12.

Booths, vendors, and performers will be in their regular spots, but getting into the festival itself will be different. Organizers say you can only gain entry by pre-purchased timed tickets. Organizers say the timed tickets will allow for capacity control.

Unvaccinated guests and artists will also be required to wear a mask indoors and outdoors. The MAG says it is also creating a smartphone app to help visitors navigate exhibits and booths.

Last year’s festival was held exclusively online.

You can now buy morning or afternoon tickets at the MAG’s website. For adult non-members, tickets are $7, but $6 for members. For a member child (12 & under) it’s $4, for a member child, it’s $3.

Tickets are not refundable, and cannot be bought at the gates.
