Judge decides 18-year-old will be tried as a juvenile for murder on Alphonse Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A judge has decided that an 18-year-old accused of shooting and killing a teenager in Rochester in February will be tried in juvenile court.
Rochester Police say Brandon Williams was 17 when he shot Suade McKnight at a home on Alphonse Street. He’s charged with murder and four counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
Williams next court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 26.
