ROCHESTER, N.Y. — University of Rochester staff and local humanitarian group RocMaidan are teaming up to get medical equipment to clinics and newly built hospitals in Ukraine.

The U of R donated beds and other supplies to help to treat people affected by the war in Ukraine. RocMaidan is shipping the supplies to Ukraine.

The Rochester-based nonprofit RocMaidan helped to bring humanitarian relief to Ukraine since 2014. You can donate to RocMaidan here.

In March, ROC Maidan collaborated with Monroe County officials to donate and transport three ambulances to Ukraine.

The nonprofit Rochester Regional Health Foundations also has fund you can donate to to provide medical relief to Ukraine. The fund was started by two pediatric neurologist, one from Rochester Regional Health and another from the U of R Medical Center.
